ولد في مدينة دمشق عام 1948 .
* مشارك دائم في المعارض العامة منذ عام 1966.
* أكثر من 45 معرض شخصي في كل من : دمشق – حلب – اللاذقية – درعا – دير الزور – بيروت – عمّان – دبي – باريس - فاميك – جينيف منذ 1970 . * معرض إستعادي لأعمال من 1969 – 1996 في معهد غوته في دمشق .
* الجائزة الثالثة للفنانين الشباب 1971 دمشق.
* جائزة إنترغرافيك برلين 1980 .
* الجائزة الثالثة لبينالي الشارقة 1996.
* متفرغ للعمل الفني منذ عام 1987.
